Have questions? We have answers!

We work hard to make our space a friendly, safe and clean place to get tattooed- for everyone. Every skin color, every orientation, every person. Our studio is LGBT+ friendly, and we abide by all of the current GGD rules and regulations.

If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please email us, and we'll be happy to get back to you.

I am considering a new tattoo what do I need to know?

We are very grateful you are considering to get tattooed at our studio!

Because we receive a big variety of requests, from which 7 out of 10 are unfortunately not always doable as a tattoo, we decided to write down a few guidelines for you which can help to form your tattoo idea :)

Sometimes certain designs work great as an art piece on a flat surface like a print or digital screensaver. Not all good designs can also work as a good tattoo design.

Since tattoos are placed on living skin, tattoos will always evolve and expand over the years. This is not a bad thing, but we have to take this in consideration while choosing our design.

This means not every design can be done as a tattoo.

The amount of expanding can vary from person to person, and external factors like exposure to sunlight can have influence. And because of this, tattoo designs will always need a minimum size.

Our artists are professionals with years of experience, once they have your design ready and print it on paper they will be able to determine the size your tattoo needs to be.

Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to give an exact size in centimeters beforehand. We kindly ask you to be flexible with sizing, so we can give you a great tattoo which will last and stay great for a long time!

Sometimes we get requests to create a single design including lots of elements. Maybe because they like so many different anime’s or cannot choose between characters or all these elements mean so much to them. We completely understand, but we will always try to make something aesthetically pleasing and something that will stand out as a tattoo. By combining many elements in one single design, they can distract from each other, and each piece should get the attention it deserves. The elements that don’t fit can be a different tattoo next time ;)

Listen to the advice of your tattoo artist, they are not trying to destroy your dream, they try to give you the best tattoo possible :)

Huge tip: The more freedom you give to your artist, the more likely they will give you the most beautiful design possible! It’s their job after all. The more guidelines and restrictions you give them, the harder it is for them to include all this in your design ;)

In our studio we usually plan our appointments from Monday to Saturday between 12:00 and 18:00. All our artists maintain different schedules and working days or starting times. Because our artists are often very busy, we cannot always promise you a spot on very short notice. Please try to contact us well in advance to book your appointment.

Our starting price is 150 euros. We can’t do small tattoos for less, even if it’s just a small symbol. For rough price indications you can always e-mail or DM us.

Where are you located?

We are located in the historic city of The Hague, near the Peace Palace! It's a short, 5 minute tram or bus from the central station.

Our address is Laan van Meedervoort 21a, 2517AC The Hague

What do I do if it's my first tattoo?

Have no fear! We'll walk you through the entire process- from start to finish. Getting a new tattoo can be scary, but it's a lot easier than you think!

Our best advice is to rest well and eat a healthy meal before your appointment. Keep yourself hydrated and ask questons to your artist when you need to!

Do you do tattoos that aren't anime or anime related?

Of course! All our artists also have their unique styles, you do not have to be an anime fan to get tattooed by us! Take a look at our artists portfolios or their social media to see examples of the other tattoos they make!

How much does a tattoo cost?

Tattoos can vary widely on cost! It's hard for us to give you a direct answer without knowing what you want. It's like saying how much a car costs- a small used car will have a different price than a brand new sports car! For an easier answer, you're more than welcome to send us an email describing your idea, and we can give you a rough price indication.

How can i make an appointment?

There's a lot of ways to make an appointment with us! You can email us directly, or you can reach out to the artist you prefer for your tattoo idea- either option works!

If you are unsure of which artist is best suited for your needs we are happy to guide you to the right one.

I'm worried about what color will look like on my skin tone.

This unfortunately is something we hear quite often. Despite a lot of conflicting information, melanated skin CAN absolutely get tattooed with color. Tattoos will always take on your skin tone as the background- this has nothing to do with whether you can or can't get them! Your artist simply needs to pay attention to your undertones in your skin and pick colors to contrast them.

Ask your artist if they have any advice for you!

The artist I want has their books closed- now what?

Unfortunately with our highly requested artists this can happen! You're more than welcome to wait it out until they take new appointments again- or you can see if another one of our artists would have time. The choice is up to you!

When's your next flash day?

For information on flash days, guest artists, and conventions you can check out our events page! Sometimes we update our social media faster than the website though, so to be the first to know check us out on instagram first.

What does "Itai" mean?

Itai is the japanese word/sound for "Ouch!"

Ernesto and Sara thought they were really funny with that one.
